The Fairy Garden was officially opened on 1 July, 2018 and has been a favourite of little and large visitors to our garden ever since.

We were delighted to have Lyndon Kane from Coleraine F.C. cutting the ribbon, along with children from St Malachy’s Preschool Nursery, Macosquin Community Nursery and Harpur’s Hill Primary School who had all created some beautiful fairy houses and fairy doors.

The community came together to marvel at the new addition to our garden and to enjoy a barbeque lunch with bouncy castles and games laid on for the children.

We are extremely grateful to everyone who made fairy houses, doors and other decorations, and would welcome any new creations. If you would like to make something for the garden, feel free to contact us for more information.

We are so grateful to the Geddis family for donating this beautiful wishing well to the garden in memory of their beloved son, Zachary.

We are equally thankful to each and every one of you who has contributed to the well – your wishes have raised £390 for the garden to date!

For the past four years, Irene McFaul has been completing the 10 mile challenge in the Rathlin Run and raising much needed, and appreciated, funds for the garden.

On the 24th August, 2019, our running warrior once again smashed the course and raised a whopping £840 in sponsorship!

Thank you so much Irene, you’re an inspiration to us all!
